Is your website facing issues regarding too many redirects and you don’t know what to do about it. You should not worry anymore because in this blog we have explained all the errors that can cause too many redirects on your WordPress website. After performing all these steps, your website won’t face:

Step 1. There are various reasons for the issue of too many redirects. One of the common reasons is web browser cookies. This reason has been seen a lot. For this, you should access the website from a browser that you don’t use all the time. Try browsers like Firefox, Safari, Opera, and Microsoft Edge. After you have tried various browsers to open your website, you shall proceed to clear the browser cookies. It is also necessary to clear the cache from the browser. Sometimes this step doesn’t solve the problem, then you need to follow the next step.

Step 2. Another common cause that causes too many redirects is plug-in conflict. When you use the plugin for solving this problem, then the redirect set on default creates this issue. For fixing this issue, it is necessary that you deactivate the WordPress plugins. For this, you have to go to the admin section. But there are times when this issue limits the access to admin as well, so then you will have to do it by FTP client. Connect to the FTP client and then search for the option of deactivating the plugin.

After doing this the issue is resolved, and you can reactivate the plugins from the All Plugins section. The process can be done on me after another.

Step 3. We have another reason for redirects, which is configuration. It is caused due to an error in the URL settings. For this, you have to go to the Settings and then reach the General page. WordPress websites and their URL should be the same. But when it’s different, you will have to go to the FTP client again because the access is limited to the WordPress admin area. For this, again connect the theme and folder to the FTP client. Just find the functions.php file and add the text. Also, try to change the URL settings.

Step 4. In this step, you have to use the .htaccess file. This SEO-friendly URL and redirects use it. At times, the plugins used in WordPress can affect the .htaccess. You might not be able to make the correction by just deactivating the plugin. For this process, you will require the FTP client, and the process is done manually. For this, you need to have a copy of .htaccess for backup. Post the delete the file and then go to the WordPress blog. If the step is done easily, it means there is nothing wrong. But if there is an issue then go to the Settings section and find the permalink and save all the changes.

Step 5. When you have performed all the above steps, chances are the issue might be solved. But if not then the server is not a problem. For plugin as an issue, you have to check with the support forum and for the configuration check set-up of the website.

    Wrapping Up
